A message from Pastor Cindy:
God’s blessings be upon you! I am Reverend Cindy Makarchuk, better known as ‘Pastor Cindy.’ In 2001, God called me into ministry, starting out as laity in the secular world of technology. I received my license to preach in 2002 along with my first church appointment in the southern tier of NY. Since then, I have held 6 church appointments (usually 2 per appointment), my husband and I adopted 3 children, and we moved out of my own home (commuting to the churches) into a parsonage in 2017 provided for me and my family in the community in which I serve.
In the secular world, I graduated from SUNY with an engineering degree but God had other plans from me and my spouse. Once joining my husband’s family church, the Lord started working on my spirit and I became even more involved with the Holy Trinity and applying myself to the work of God. The larger Methodist Church sent me to Wesley Seminary in Washington DC where I graduated in 2010, far from the farm in Taberg where I was raised knowing what it meant to be a steward of Creation.
As a Pastor, the Lord has called me to not only observe and be a steward of His Creation but to help others just like me, to see God in them, to feel the Holy Spirit around them, working in them and through them, and to build a relationship with Him, walking through life, knowing Jesus is the way to the Father.
I hope you will come explore what God has to offer you through practicing your faith through Worship & Bible Study while living out what the Lord has for you. I am positive you will be blessed in joining our church family!
